Mr Richardson-Brown's Welcome

Hello and welcome to South Wellfield First School!  We are a two-form entry first school proud to serve families in Whitley Bay, Monkseaton, Shiremoor and Backworth.  We have developed this website to give you a flavour of everything we have to offer.  We know how important a school is to family life and we want to be a partner in that with you.

There is lots to see here but I will use this bit to give you my headlines.

1. Child-centred- everything we do is for the benefit of your children.  From our carefully constructed curriculum to our amazing staff who will go over and above for your child and family.  South Wellfield First School is the place where you will be welcomed and supported.
2. We Shine Brightly- this is our school motto and you will see it is everything we do.  Our children achieve academic success but that is just the start of how they shine.  We believe in the whole child and provide opportunities for them to shine beyond the curriculum.
3.  Family-focused- we are here to work with you and make sure we are the doing the best we can for you and your family.  You will find me on the school gate each morning, where I am always available for a chat.  We believe that the more school and families work together, the more we can achieve for our children
